In 2000 Gourmet Magazine took a recipe from Bridge
Street Bakery from the You Asked For It column and used that cake to grace
the cover of its March issue. This achievement was the first of any resturant
in the state of Vermont.
In 2003 Mary started a new chapter with BSB moving to its catering, mail-order
facilities on the original acres of Mary first farmstead. She now sends her
famous cakes and tarts mail-order. She also uses her beautiful site for catering
as well as doing Wedding Cakes and Special Occasion Cakes .

Luscious Lemon Cake
Unbelievable seven Layers of moist genoise and light lemon mousse frosted
with sweet butter cream or lighter than air Chantilly cream.
Chocolate Truffle Cake
French Chocolate Cake layered with dark chocolate truffle or white chocolate
truffle center. Covered in semisweet ganache and topped with mini-truffles.
Summer Strawberry Cake
Thin layers of our French Chocolate Cake or Vanilla Genoise with juicy strawberry
mousse. Select sweet butter cream, vanilla chantilly or semi-sweet ganache.
In-side Out German Chocolate Cake
Our most famous cake-so good it landed the March 2000 cover of Gourmet Magazine.
Layers of our French Chocolate Cake stuffed with our "secret" caramel,
toasted coconut and pecans. Covered in semi-sweet ganache.
Carrot Cake
A taste of nostalgia with a twist. Choose either a classic taste with golden
raisins and walnuts or go tropical with mandarin oranges and pineapple. Frosted
in a to die for cream cheese frosting.
Black Forest Cake
Our bakery makes its own brandied dark cherries and marinates to perfection
in French Brandy. Layered in our French Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Curls
topped with Chantilly Cream.
Chocolate Raspberry Cake or Orange Chocolate Cake
French Chocolate Cake cut in thin layers with light raspberry mousse or an
added touch of chocolate raspberry. May be iced with chocolate Ganache, Chantilly
Cream or sweet butter cream.
